Blending Ancient Wisdom and Modern Understanding To Help You Feel Your Best
Regardless of your age or background, you can get the help you need to improve your health and well-being.
Meet Your Practitioner,
Debbie Btesh
My drive to become an Acupuncturist started with my journey to find answers for my own health challenges. When I did, I saw how much Eastern medicine has to offer, as well as how it can be used in conjunction with traditional Western medicine treatments.
During the 8+ years that I have been in practice I’ve witnessed time and again the body’s natural ability to heal itself when given the right tools and information. This is what gets me so excited about my work!
My approach is to delve deeply into all the factors that may be impacting your health, and then support and aid you in your healing journey, whatever that may look like.
You’ll be in Good Hands

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does Acupuncture hurt?
Acupuncture generally does not hurt. We use tiny needales, the thickness of a hair, and insert them superficially. The needles are sterile and single use. They are disposed of immediately after use. There are no known negative effects from acupuncture. People report feeling very relaxed and balanced after a session.
I make it a priority for my patients to have no pain or discomfort during their sessions. Therefore, if a needle or a cup is uncomfortable or bothersome, I immediately remove it and find another way to bring about healing. The wonder of this work is that there are various ways to accomplish similar outcomes and I have various modalities to choose from.
What non-needle treaments do you have?
There are several non-needle treatment options, this includes: Sound Healing, Cupping, Magnets, and seeds. I work to accommodate your comfort level.
What happens during a first visit?
Your initial visit might be quite long, and will include a very long list of questions about seemingly unrelated things. For example, in addition to learning about your symptoms and medical history, I’ll want to know about your diet, sleep patterns, water intake and output, lifestyle, emotional state, the temperature at which you are most comfortable, and much more. As part of the physical exam I’ll look at your tongue and check your pulses. This interview and exam is an important part of the holistic approach to healing upon which acupuncture and Oriental Medicine are based.
